THE RIGHT ADSENSE AD FORMATS TO USE
If you have been wondering which adSense ad formats have been proven to perform the best and which ones you should use on your webpages, then I have your answer which is based on my own actual adsense ad experiences over the past few months.
Rectangular ad formats tend to easily outdo their Skyscraper counterparts!
The reasoning is that wider (rectangular) ad formats are more reader-friendly because those visitors/readers on your webpage can read several words at a time. So please remember to refrain from using SkyScraper ads on your webpages.
Publishing wider ad formats will allow one to read more text at a glance without the need to skip a line and return to the left margin every few words as they would need to do with a narrow or Skyscraper ad. Make your ads to be an easy and convient read for your visitors/readers,with your doing so,I am pretty confidant that your ads will recieve more clicks on them. Why?
They were able to easily and alot quicker to syphon out more info with the Skyscraper ads faster and want to learn more on what they just read and will click on the ad to get it.
Remember this as food for thought too. Always make it about your visitors/readers first and your adsense income second. A pain in the butt advert does little justice to your adsense campaignes.
The best adsense ad formats are the 336x280 large rectangular, the 300x250 Medium Rectangular, and if you really like them, use the 160x600 wide skyscraper adsense ad format. I myself personally also like to include some of the Adsense Link Unit formats when I monetize my pages. I wait a month then go to my account and check which units are doing good and which are not and do some tweeking if necessary.
So go ahead and place more rectangular adsense ads on your pages and see how it works for you. You should see an increase in CTR's(Click Through Rates) from your visitors/readers which obviously will show an increase in your adsense income.

The "Not To Do" List With Adsense.
Google, is clearly the undisputable leader in search engines from way back when until now, and is placing a high importance on the quality and relevancy of its search engines.
Most especially now that the company is public property. In order to keep the shareholders and users of its search engines happy, the quality of the returned results are given extreme importance.
For that in mind, doing the wrong things within the adsense program and other forms of
advertisements, whether intentional or not, can result in a severe penalty,
maybe get you banned and have your adsense account terminated.
So for those who are thinking of making a career in the adsense program, do not just think of the strategies you will be using to generate more earnings.
Consider some things before you actually get involved. A ounce of prevention is worth the cure.
Hidden texts.
Filling your advertisement page with texts to small to read, has the same color
as the background, and using CSS for the sole purpose of loading them with rich keywords
content and copy will earn you a penalty award that is given to those who are hiding links.
Page cloaking.
This is a common practice of using browser or bot sniffers to serve the bots
of a different page other than the page your visitors will see.
Loading a page with a bot that a user will never see is a definite Google no-no.
This is tricking them into clicking on something that you want them to but they may not want to go to. You wouldn't want someone to do that to you,so refrain from doing the same.
Multiple submissions.
Submitting multiple copies of your domain and pages is another thing to
stay away from.
I am unclear as to whether or not that applies to blog pages as well.
(Will get the answer for you all as soon as possible.)
For example, trying to submit a URL of an adsense as two separate URL’s is inviting trouble and even most likely adsense account termination.
Likewise, this is a reason to avoid auto submitters for those who are receiving submissions. Better CHECK FIRST to see if your domain is submitted already with a certain search engine before you try to submit to it again.
If you see it there, then move along.
No point contemplating whether to try and submit there again.
I do not believe that it applies to updated pages being submitted to places such as http://www.pingomatic.com.
Link farms.
Be wary of who and what are you linking your adsense to.
The search engines know that you cannot control your links in.
But you can certainly control what you link to.
Link farming has always been a rotten apple in the eyes of search engines, especially Google.
That is reason enough to try and avoid them.
Having a link higher than 100 on a single page will classify you as a link farm so please try not to make them higher than that.
Page rank for sale.
If you have been online for quite some time, you will notice that there are some sites selling their PR links or trading them with other sites.
If you are doing this, you can likely expect a ban anytime. It is okay to sell ads or gain the link.
But doing it on direct advertisement of your page rank is a way to get on a search engines bad side. You don't want to tick off any search engines,expecially Google!
Doorways.
This is similar to cloaking pages. The common practice of a page loaded with
choice keyword ads aimed at redirecting visitors to another “user-friendly” page is a big issue
among search engines.
There are many seo firms offering this kind of service. Now that you know what they actually are, try to avoid them at all costs.

In case you are not aware of it, search engines look at domain IP’s, registry dates and many others. Multiple domains having the eact same content is not something you can hide from them. The same goes with content multiplied many times on separate pages, sub domains and forwarding multiple domains to the same content.

Most webmasters know that Adsense generates a sizeable source of additional advertising income. Its no big secret anymore and plenty are doing it right now as I write.
That's why the majority of them use it to go after high paying keywords.
They have lists that tell them what those high paying keywords are and have even utilized a variety of methods to identify them. But wait,pay attention here!
After putting up these supposed-to-be high paying keywords into their pages, the money they expected to come rolling in is not really coming in.
What is it that they are doing wrong?
Having the pages with those high paying keywords is one thing, but driving traffic to those pages is yet another matter entirely, and is often the missing factor!
Whats the use of having all these high paying keywords with no traffic coming in to make you adsense money? Its pretty much a waste of your time.
The thing is, to get visitors to your high paying keyword pages, you NEED TO optimize your site navigation.
Stop and think about how visitors are using your website. What brought them there? What are they looking for? Some are simply surfing around while others are looking for something and one or more of your high paying keywords was used to steer them your way.
After a visitor has landed on a certain page, they have the tendency to click on another page that sounds interesting.
They get there because of the other links that appear on a page that they had landed on.
This is called Site Navigation. It is all about enabling visitors to move around your site.
And one powerful way of maximizing your Adsense earnings!
A typical website has menu links on each page. The wording on these links is what grabs a visitor’s attention and gets them to click on one of those links that will take them to another page on that website.

Reasoning Behind Content Sites Adsense.
To fully understand why adsense is critical for your content sites is to first understand how it all works.
The concept behind it is really simple to understand, if you think about it.
The publisher or the webmaster inserts a java script into a specific content site.
